Privacy & Cookies Policy
Last updated: 1 August 2026
Summons 3D Printing ("we", "us") runs this website as a hobbyist showcase. We take your privacy seriously - and the simplest way to protect it is to not collect your data in the first place. That is exactly how this site is built.
1. What personal data we collect
None. This website:
- has no user accounts, sign-up or login;
- has no contact forms and collects no names, email addresses or messages;
- uses no analytics or visitor tracking of any kind;
- shows no advertising;
- loads no third-party fonts, scripts, images or embeds - every file comes from this site only;
- sells nothing and processes no payments.
2. Cookies and similar technologies
This site sets no cookies - not for tracking, not for advertising, not for anything else.
The only thing stored on your device is a single entry in your browser's local storage (summons3d-notice-dismissed) if you dismiss our privacy notice. It contains no personal information, never leaves your device, and exists only so we don't show you the same notice on every visit. This kind of strictly necessary storage is exempt from consent requirements under the UK/EU ePrivacy rules (PECR) and the GDPR. You can remove it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
3. Server logs
This site is hosted as a static website on Render. Like virtually all web hosts, Render's infrastructure may keep short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses and request times) for security and reliability purposes. We do not access, analyse or combine these logs with any other data. See Render's privacy policy for details on their processing.
4. Buying prints - Vinted
All selling happens on Vinted, not on this website. If you follow a link to Vinted, their platform handles your account, messages, payments and delivery details under Vinted's own privacy policy. We only see what Vinted shows sellers (such as your Vinted username and messages you send us there).
5. Your rights
Under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR you have rights over your personal data, including access, rectification, erasure and objection. Because this website does not collect or store any personal data about you, there is normally nothing for us to act on - but if you believe we hold personal data about you (for example from a Vinted conversation), contact us via our Vinted profile and we will respond promptly. You also have the right to complain to your supervisory authority; in the UK this is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
6. Children
This site is a general-audience showcase and collects no data from anyone, including children.
7. Changes to this policy
If the site ever changes in a way that affects your privacy (for example, adding analytics or a contact form), we will update this policy first and, where required, ask for your consent before anything is collected.
